Dutch Innovation on a Global Stage
Last week, the Roboat team had the incredible opportunity to showcase our technology, as part of the NL Innovation Square, at HANNOVER MESSE, the world’s leading industrial tech trade fair.
Over three dynamic days, we connected with industry leaders, government officials, and fellow innovators, all while reinforcing our mission to push the boundaries of automated water transport.
HANNOVER MESSE brings together the forefront of industrial innovation, from automation and robotics to energy and mobility. As part of the NL Startup Pavilion, Roboat proudly represented a wave of next-generation Dutch startups demonstrating real-world applications of smart mobility and automation.
A key part of our experience was engaging with Marcela Attili Franzin, Monika Sanders, Jeroen van Baren, and Willem Drost from PSPS Business Abroad, who shared valuable insights on global industrial trends and opportunities for collaboration.
We also welcomed Eva Vergles, start-up liaison at the NL Embassy in Berlin, and Hans Velde from our partner Royal Van der Leun, who visited our stand to learn more about Roboat’s automated navigation systems for urban waterways. Their enthusiasm for sustainable solutions reflects the growing momentum behind smarter waterborne transport across Europe.
As the fair wrapped up, we left energized by the connections, conversations, and possibilities that emerged. HANNOVER MESSE proved to be a powerful launchpad for positioning Roboat within the global industrial tech landscape.
A big thank you to PSPS Business Abroad, the NL Innovation Square organizers, and all our partners for making this experience possible. It was an honor to represent Dutch ingenuity, and to share our journey toward smarter, more sustainable cities with the world.
Germany, it was a pleasure, see you again soon.
